Well kids, I'm not sure how to explain it, but season 10 ended with Jon Wing sneaking into the tournament from 19th place with 0 wins and 412 points to upset 15 15 others, including 2242-point-collecting Ed Keyser, to take 1st place and over $500 home with him.

We had an awesome holiday party/poker night last night! It was loads of fun and we saw some very interesting white elephant gifts! Take a peak at the pictures. I think there are a few more to upload and we will get those added!

I must say that my present was the best of all! Thanks to Brandi Meldrum I have the best picture for our poker room ever!!

Sean Dower (from back in the day) showed up for the first time in a long time!! Of course, as tradition has it, he won the first game.

The 2nd game was great. I know you wonder why it was a great. Well, it is because I ended up heads up with the dominating Ken Copansky and managed to WIN! It was a very exciting finish. The hand that made it possible was- he pushed with K Q off and I had an insta-call with pocket 66. Much to my dismay the flop opened with Q and another Q- YUCK, but then the final card of the flop was a 6- unfortunately for Ken the turn and the river didn't help his cause. Two hands later it was done...

Matt will update December's schedule shortly. Do we have host volunteers for January and February? I would like to have the schedules up in advance, but we've been "hand to mouth" for hosts for most of the year. I'd like for 2010 to be different!
